Cotton Candy Beginner Cardigan Crochet Pattern

Please note that there was a pattern correction from the original version at the arm openings on the front panels. Interlace the first two points on the first panel and the last two points on the second panel in the pattern line. See the updated model on the blog. Thank you !!

The look and feel of this extraordinarily soft and airy cardigan will remind you of cotton candy! It features a comfortable loose knit fabric with simple stockinette stitch and garter stitch. The stitch definition is gorgeous and works quickly with large knitting needles. Because it’s made with minimal shaping and only requires beginner knitting skills, this is the perfect project for first-time sweater makers.

Nautical Cardigan Crochet Pattern

Without having to cut the yarn between the strips, this feminine crochet nautical cardigan is super easy and fun to make. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed using just half high and double stitch to create such a beautiful effect between the stripes and a subtle kind of braid and lace effect in the dark blue stripes! And of course it’s super quick to make, because I’m using good old-fashioned stitches. Plus, this crochet cardigan pattern is free and includes a simple Youtube video tutorial, where you can see the close-up of the fabric.

Simply Stated Cardigan Crochet Pattern

The Simply Stated Cardigan is a chunky, open cardigan designed to be the perfect addition to your wardrobe. This is a great pattern for novice knitters or those unfamiliar with sweater knitting and is also fun for the more advanced knitter. This cardigan is a top-down raglan sweater that is easy to modify as you knit and works quickly with large needles and chunky yarn.

Size guide + finished measurements
The cardigan is written in four sizes, 1 (2, 3, 4), with a finished bust of 40.5 (45, 49, 53.5) / 103 (114, 124.5, 135.5) cm. The cardigan is designed to have approximately 15-20.5cm of positive ease, so choose a size that provides the desired comfort or fits the desired comfort. For example, if you have a 96.5cm / 38in bust, a size 2 would be ideal for around 18cm of ease. Feel free to adjust the body length and armhole depth as you wish. You can try on the cardigan as you go.

Sleek and Glamour Crochet Cardigan Pattern Ideas

Sahara Cardigan Crochet Pattern

This cardigan is a neutral beige of desert sand, so I called it Sahara Cardigan!

The yarn is soft and a bit shiny because it is an Egyptian mercerized cotton yarn. It is a sporty chic long cardigan, I hope you will love the puffed crests! It is a very simple pattern as we crochet 2 main panels which are the body of the cardigan and then we attach the yarn to work the sleeves and the elegant wavy shell edge that caresses the arms and neck.

Yoru Crochet Pattern

I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture; that is to say, I am intrigued by its contrast between minimalism and sophistication. This ignited the inspiration for this cardigan. It has simple lines, but is full of details that in my mind suggest a nocturnal landscape.

Yoru is a loose and comfortable cardigan, worked top to bottom in one piece. The shawl collar is knitted in two symmetrical halves and decorated with an interesting textured pattern. The stitches are then picked up from the collar and worked for the yoke, then separated for the body and sleeves. I suggest you make this kind of cardigan in amigurumi patterns. Especially now, there are quite a lot of free amigurumi patterns on the market. As you know, making crochet amigurumi is quite easy.

The sleeves are decorated with a compatible pattern that continues down the arm and the body is shaped using short rows so that the back is slightly longer than the front. The twisted ribbed lace panels make the pattern pop.

Cooper Cardigan Crochet Pattern

The Cooper Cardigan is an adult crochet pattern that uses lightweight yarns. It is available in adult sizes from Small to 3XL. Create using your favorite colors of Lion Brand Mandala or Baby Bee Sweet Delight Yarn found at Hobby Lobby!

It requires VERY little sewing and no sewing of separate pieces together!
The body of the Cooper Cardigan is worked in 1 long piece. The sides are sewn together leaving holes for the arms. Then the sleeves are added. It is quite simple to work using basic crochet stitches and repeats. A perfect project for a weekend watching Netflix.

You will love wearing this cardigan to stay warm during those mild weather days. It is quite true to size with a slightly relaxed fit. Stretches slightly as worn.

Georgine Crochet Pattern

“Georgine” is part of Filcolana’s “Colors of the Scandinavian Summer” collection. For this collection our team of designers found inspiration in the incredible light and Scandinavian colors in the works of the Skagen painters.

Designer Karen Skriver Lauger found inspiration for the “Georgine” design in the beautiful warm, vibrant colors of the flowers and the beautiful blue wall of Anna Syberg’s “Georginer i et glas” (Dahlias in a glass) painting.
