The Basic Bikini Crochet Pattern

THE BASIC BIKINI is an easy and delicate bikini that can be crocheted in any size you need and according to your measurements. This way the yardage can range from 1 to 2 skeins for larger sizes.

First the cups are worked, then the straps are worked to join both cups in the center. The band is then attached and crocheted. Strings are attached by working an I-Chord.

Work a marker for the stitch pattern before starting your project.

Basic Bralette Crochet Pattern

When I imagined this little design, I had some specific needs in mind: that it was a simple “base” motif from which many variations could be made, as well as being easily customizable for many sizes and, last but not least, comfortable! After a few experiments, the model for the Basic Bralette was born.

I chose round triangle cups for both the look and the ease of adjusting their size, as well as a band through which the cross thread binds so there is no pressure on the neck as with traditional strap laces. in bikini style.

Also, I added a touch of shoulder pads along the inner cups, because TRENDY. Say hello to your next cute and comfy summer crochet project!

Now, there is some math involved, fair warning. However, if you’re confused about gauge and measurements, I’m here to help you – or just to do it, and use the old “hold it against yourself periodically while you work” method.
