Simple Joy Blanket Crochet Pattern

The Simple Joy blanket is colorful and calm. The textured background and colorful bands will stimulate without overwhelming. The Chunky Monkey version I share is child-friendly and quite heavy (1.6kg), perfect for my little one, who needs some weight before bed.

After making it for Boy 3, I realized that I wouldn’t mind having one myself. The template is super easy to customize to size and I’ll share more details on this next week when I share the adaptations needed to create a kid’s version of Color Crafter.

I have to tell you that I really enjoyed working with this yarn. Everything is a YES in my books. The best part is probably how quickly a project grows with such a thick wire 🙂
