Elementary Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern
Here is the elementary rainbow blanket! I am almost embarrassed to post this template because it is SO simple but I thought it might be useful for beginners. It’s a basic granny square that uses groups of 3 high stitches. I made it in Paintbox Cotton Aran and I have to say that I love the feel of this yarn when it is worked. I am working on a few projects about crochet amigurumi patterns. If you are interested, I will share free amigurumi patterns for you. I hope you will like it. You will like the very simple crochet amigurumi making. It’s the perfect summer blanket weight. You can make it as small or as large as you want by stopping or adding rounds so that the indicator is not very important. (I’ve noticed that caliber doesn’t matter in a lot of my projects lately. Hmmm … Could it be that I don’t like creating caliber samples? Something to think about!) Let’s get started!

Monster Baby Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern
When one of my best friends decided on a monster theme for her first child, I knew I could have fun creating something that fit the theme! I designed these textured caps to be easily customized so that any small, fast-growing monster could have a different design for each growth spurt for the first 12 months. This pattern includes sizes for newborn, 3-6 months and 6-12 months with instructions for eyes, horns and teeth to decorate however you like. The hat’s textured pattern is made to mimic monster skin for an extra detail that’s hard to overlook.
